Meet Achom Margaret

Margaret, Program Coordinator

We are happy to introduce you to the newest member of the Project Yesu family, our first official staff member, Ms. Margaret.

Achom Margaret is from the Atesot tribe. She is a wife and mother to 11 children, 7 are biological and 4 are children she has been raising now for over 7 years. Their ages range from 22 years old to 5 years old.

Ms Margaret holds a teaching certificate and a counseling certificate and is highly respected in her community.

Ms. Margaret will be the Program Coordinator for the School Sponsorship Program in the village of Musima. She will be doing home visits to make sure the children are being taken care of, fed properly and are in good living conditions. Ms. Margaret will also be visiting the schools to make sure our children are receiving a good education, attending classes and performing well.

Ms. Margaret will be the representative for Project Yesu, meeting with Head Masters/Teacher each term to check on the children’s grades, performance, behavior and attendance. She will also be meeting with representatives from St. Emmanuel Community Initiative that works in the village also.

We are so excited to have Ms. Margaret on our team and know she will be a such a blessing to Project Yesu and our work in Uganda.
